Warwick Town Triples triumph for Potterton
The Potterton team of John Harris, Mick Preedy and Jill Wyatt overcame Snitterfield 22-8 at Warwick Boat Club to claim the Warwick Town Triples title.
The trio, who beat Ken Dorsey’s WCC 21-18 in their morning semi-final, controlled the match throughout despite an excellent display from opposition lead Jill Green.
Snitterfield had earlier beaten a second WCC team, skipped by George Barber, 21-13 in their last-four clash.
Potterton skip Harris received the winner’s trophy from Warwick mayor Cllr Trudy Offer, who made her bowls debut immediately following the final.
