Leamington are unable to pull off second cup shock against Poynton
Leamington shocked National League side Liverpool Sefton in the previous round, but found the Conference North leaders too strong despite a gallant effort.
The home side had to absorb large periods of pressure in the first half but did succumb to a short corner to go in at the break one down.

However, Brooklands put away a second to secure their progress to the last eight.
Jordan Savage picked up the man-of-the-match award for Leamington after a sterling defensive effort.
The previous day, Leamington claimed a 3-2 win at home to promotion rivals Cannock 2nds to move up to second in Midlands Division One.

A Bethan Ellis goal extended the hosts’ lead before Cannock struck back to set up an anxious finale.
