Heartbreak for OLs under-tens
Old Leamingtonians under-tens suffered a cruel exit in the Prima Cup at Welford Road, bowing out of the competition despite remaining unbeaten.
The OLs youngsters showed no sign of nerves at the home of Leicester Tigers, beating Market Rasen 3-0 in their last-16 clash courtesy of tries from Harri Ainslie, Freddie Brooker and James Pagan.
However, despite two tries from Ainslie and one from Brooker in a 3-3 draw with Hayward’s Heath, it was the West Sussex side who progressed having scored the all-important first try.
