First podium of the season for Bremridge

Cubbington rider Josh Bremridge claimed fifth place for RLS4X The Bikeyard/Nukeproof in the third round of the British 4X Series at the Redhill Extreme Track in Gloucestershire.

Two wins and a second place from the heats allowed Bremridge to gain first pick of the gates for the quarter-final.

His selection of three allowed him to reach the first corner ahead of the pack and he maintained his position to the finish line.

He again selected gate three for the semi-final, but found himself boxed in and despite forcing his way back to third from fourth, he narrowly missed out on a place in the A final.

The result left Bremridge needing to win the B final to take the fifth and final podium place and he did not disappoint, leading from the first corner to claim first and gain his maiden podium of the season.
