The tough course which followed hilly farmland and consists of difficult cambers and sharp twists, presented competitors with a greater challenge this year due to the recent heavy rainfall. Over the course of the day, conditions became more and more challenging as the mud levels increased.

More than 40 Leamington athletes took part and pride of place went to the under-20 men’s team who took the gold medal.
