WATCH: Kenilworth rescue dog with shaggy ruff which bares uncanny resemblance to Shakespeare
Five-year-old Rocco has been nicknamed ‘The Woof in the Ruff’ by staff at the Dogs Trust who have thrust him centre stage.
The crossbreed, who was found as a stray, has a distinctive shaggy ruff which looks just like the Elizabethan-era collar worn by the Bard in the 16th century.

“We’re hoping that if we put him in the spotlight someone will declare their everlasting love for him.
“He loves being the centre of attention and has boundless energy so will need an active home with lots of direction to ensure he becomes a true star he is destined to be.
“He could potentially share the stage with another four-legged friend as well as children.”
