Update: Rescue operation in Leamington
A CREW from Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance has been called to the Clarendon Street in Leamington, where a workman has been seriously injured.
It is believed the man is trapped under a piece of heavy equipment near the Clarendon Lodge Medical Centre where work has been taking place to uprgrade the sewage pipes under the road.
Four police cars, two paramedics and an ambulance are also at the scene where a crowd has gathered.
Police have been diverting pedestrians away from the road and have blocked Leicester Street to traffic.
