Trees of Light campaign to launch in Leamington and Whitnash this month
The Rotary Club of Royal Leamington Spa will soon launch its Tress of Light campaign on both towns’ respective Christmas Lights switch-on events with donations going to the Myton Hospices.
Lights on the Leamington tree, outside the town hall, and the Whitnash tree, outside St Margaret’s church, will shine in memory of absent or deceased loved ones.

Rotary club president Barry Andrews: “Thanks to the public’s generosity towards its Trees of Light, since its inception in 2001 the scheme has raised over £55,000. This year we are very pleased to be yet again supporting The Myton Hospices in their very important work for our community”.
The Whitnash tree will be switched on at a ceremony at St Margaret’s church at 5.15pm on Saturday 19th November and the Leamington tree will be switched on at 3.30pm outside the Town Hall on Sunday 20th November.
Donations can be made on the form in the brochures available at Leamington Town Hall, the Royal Priors, Whitnash church, in shops and both libraries in Whitnash and Leamington. Donations can also be made online at www.mytonhospice.org/TreesOfLight.
