Suspected brothel found in Warwick

A raid took place at an address in Cape Road on Monday night and Chinese woman in her late 30s and a Chinese man in his late 50s were arrested on immigration offences and on suspicion of managing a brothel after evidence was seized relating to this offence at the property.

Trent McMurray, of Warwick Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “This was good proactive work in partnership with UK Border Agency to identify and deal robustly with illegal immigrants and sex workers in the community.”
