Sunny day guaranteed on nineteenth of May

VILLAGERS in Radford Semele will again celebrate the life of a much-loved footballer who died four years ago.

Proceeds from the third Sunny Dhillon Memorial Day, being held at Radford playing field on Saturday May 19, will go towards improvements to the children’s play area.

The event will start with a three-mile fun run at 11am and will include the traditional Sunny Dhillon Memorial Trophy football match featuring Sunny’s team Radford Semele FC.

The event will finish at about 5pm with a balloon release in which people can send messages to lost loved ones.

The Sunny Dhillon Memorial Fund was set up by Sunny’s mother Narinder and has raised thousands of pounds for children’s groups in the village.

Villagers
