Staff’s bad language helps a good cause

STAFF at a learning and mobile based technology firm can swear by a method of fundraising which has helped them to donate hundreds of pounds to a good cause.

Employees at Redware Ltd in Holly Walk, Leamington, have been putting money into a swear box every time they turn the air blue.

And as a result the foul-mouthed fundraisers have made £422 for Smile Train, a charity which helps children from developing countries who have a cleft lip or cleft palate.

Managing director Emily Wigley said: “We have had a swear box in the office for some time and this year we have decided to give the contents to Smile Train.

“The box contained £211 and we matched the contents.

“Smile Train, with the amazing work it does for children who often cannot eat or speak properly, was a brilliant choice”
