Southam attack suspects to appear at Warwick Crown Court

THREE men charged with grievous bodily harm in relation to an assault on a man in Southam early on Saturday have appeared before magistrates in Nuneaton.

After today’s hearing, Jack Bryant, 18, of St Nicholas Road, Radford Semele, David Van Kesteren, 18, of St Michael’s Close, Ufton and Jake Hall, 18, of Burnthurst Lane, Princethorpe, have been committed to appear at Warwick Crown Court at Leamington Justice Centre on Friday September 2.

They are accused of attacking a 42-year-old man, who was found unconscious in a house in Ascote Way, Southam, shortly after midnight on Saturday.

He had suffered serious head injuries and was in a critical condition at University Hospital, Coventry.

Anyone with information in connection with the attack should contact the local investigation team at Leamington police station on 451111 where Det Chief Insp Alex Franklin-Smith is leading the investigation.
