Slideshow: Leamington street holds party in the park event for Myton Hospices

The Party in the Park event was organised by residents of Leam Terrace and took place at Crabtree Meadow on Saturday June 20.

Attractions, activities and events included face painting, maypole dancing with traditional music, a lucky dip, a house number lottery, football and other games for children a tombola and a quiz.

Residents donated to a grand auction, which raised £1,400, with one of the main lots being three days’ holiday accommodation in the Algarve.

A highlight of the event was the tug of war with the men’s team beating the women’s team for the first time in three years.

A mini sports day, with an egg and spoon race, welly wanging and a mini tug of war. concluded proceedings.
