Six pubs gear up for beer celebration at Warwickshire village

Up to 150 different real ales will be served up at six pubs in Long Itchington at the village’s four-day annual beer festival from Friday (May 3).

Now in its sixth year, the event - which is raising funds for Castel Froma and Helen Ley care centres - will once again offer families the chance to sample beers, ride in horse-drawn carriages, watch a magician and listen to live music, while children can also get their faces painted and enjoy balloon art demonstrations.

There will also be Morris dancers, buffalo burgers, hog roasts, barbecues and afternoon tea on offer.
