School’s duathlon was a great success

YOUNGSTERS from thirty different primary and secondary schools throughout Warwickshire ran and biked a challenging course in North Leamington School’s Duathlon.

The event, which took place on October 20, was aimed at bringing youngsters aged from six to 15 in the together.

Organisers wanted to build on the success of the Olympics by inspiring a new generation of sportsmen and women.

All finishers received a medal, a T-shirt , and a goody bag.

Those who finished in the top five places also received a trophy.

North Leamington pupil and Great Britain triathlete Megan McDonald, who won her race, presented the prizes.

School uniform suppliers Price & Buckland, ABM Catering and Asda sponsored the event.
