School-leavers see live criminal justice
MORE than 100 young people from around Warwickshire have been given the chance to witness justice happening as part of a school-leavers programme.
Leamington Pcso Joe Holland has been conducting tours of the Justice Centre in Newbold Terrace for participants of the Challenge UK scheme, during which they sat in on magistrates and crown court cases.
Pcso Holland said: “They have been the first young people to be given the opportunity to do that. It was good for them to see justice actually happening and they saw a lot of people in for drink-driving and cannabis dealing, which are issues they may come across in the next few years.”
