Rural villagers in south Warwickshire can donate items to their foodbank

A foodbank in south Warwickshire has held its first collection day at Tesco in Southam.

Volunteers supporting the Fosse Foodbank, set up to help those in need in rural areas surrounding Southam, gave up their time to collect donations by shoppers at the supermarket on July 5.

The organisation has set up distribution centres at St Peter’s church in Kineton, open on Wednesdays from 11.30am to 1.30pm, at Lighthorne Heath Children’s centre on Tuesdays from 9am to 10am and, starting from July 19, at Wellesbourne library on Fridays from 11.30am to 1pm.
