Rugby residents asked to have their say on local issues
Rugby Borough Council is holding a public workshop as councillors plan the programme of overview and scrutiny work for the coming year, and it is urging residents to raise issues of local concern which could benefit from a detailed review.
The public workshop takes place at the Benn Hall’s Rokeby Room, at 5.30pm on Wednesday March 8.

Recent review topics have included homelessness, welfare reform, household waste services and promoting independent living.
Cllr Howard Roberts, fellow chair of overview and scrutiny, added: “Overview and scrutiny has the power to make a real difference.
“But to be really effective it is important for local people to be involved and that’s why we have issued an open invitation to the workshop.”
