Rugby primary school's fete was a big hit
There was all sorts of fun at the St Andrew's Benn Primary School Fete in Rugby last Friday afternoon, with the playground offering up a wide range of stalls and attractions, among them Wolly the Entertainer.
One man in great demand was learning mentor Steve Vassel who took to the stocks and his bravery helped it on its way to what PTA chairman Kirsty Goodman believes was the most money ever raised for the school by one of their events.
On such a hot afternoon, the ice cream van was a big draw as people toured the stalls – but then the specially made curries were also a hit, hot but not too hot.
