Police appeal to help find man who went missing from wedding in Ryton

Police are urgently appealing for the public’s help in tracing a man who was reported missing at the weekend.

Baljeev Johal, aged 24, was attending a family wedding at the Sports Connexion on Leamington Road in Ryton-on- Dunsmore on Sunday.

He was last seen at around 12.30am.

Baljeev, who lives in the Bramcote area of Nottingham, is described as an Asian male, around 6ft 3ins.

He wears glasses and was last seen wearing a slim white shirt with a black jacket and black trousers.

Sgt Wayne Boulton said: “Baljeev’s family and the police are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare, as his disappearance is completely out of character.

“We are continuing with our enquiries to find Baljeev and would urge anyone who thinks they may have seen him to come forward.

“Please call 101 quoting incident number 16 of 5th October.

“Alternatively contact the missing people charity on 116 000 in confidence.”
