Young Leamington Khalsa footballer signs for Birmingham City FC

Jamiah played for Khalsa Juniors before signing for the Championship club.

His coach at Khalsa, Harj Aujla, said "Jamiah is a talented footballer and has developed very well this season.

"He will be a big miss to the squad and Khalsa Junior's wish him all the very best for the future."

Jamiah's parents said they are really proud of their son.

They added: “We’re really proud of him.

"He’s put in a lot of hard work to get where he is and we’d really like to thank all his Khalsa coaches for their help on getting him to the next stage of his football journey.”

Leamington Khalsa Juniors U9s (current year 4) are looking for players.

Harj is a fully qualified FA coach and within the last 12 months, two players have successfully completed trials and joined Birmingham City FC Academy.

The primary focus of the team is player development and each child will receive a good football education.
