Warwick Words History Festival to be broadcast online next month

Warwick Words History Festival will go digital this year due to social distancing regulations.

The festival organisers have announced that the event in October will not be able to go ahead as originally planned so talks will be broadcast online instead for seven days between Monday October 5 to Sunday October 11.

Speakers include Michael Wood, A C Grayling, Kathy O’Shaughnessy, Stephen Tomkins, Annie Gray, Paul Lay, Ben Kane, Diana Souhami, Nicholas Milton, Graham Sutherland, Anne Langley, Aaron Manning, Paula Fletcher, Trevor Langley and Adam Busiakiewics.

Festival Executive Director Helen Meeke said, ‘Our first ever digital festival is an exciting initiative and we look forward to welcoming festival goers in a different way this year. Starting at 10 a.m. on Monday 5 October 3 talks will be broadcast on line each day.
