Mark and Dan said: "The refurbishment has taken about three weeks and it seemed like the right opportunity to change things up and we have got a different style.
"We have new tables, new colour scheme, artwork from a local artists.
"This place was an actual tailors for about 100 years so we have gone for that tailor shop feel with old fashioned sewing machines and so on.
"We have drawn from the history of the building.

"It's a real fresh start after what has been a very difficult five months.
"You never know what is going to happen and there are all these stories of a second wave so we took quite a risk but we wanted to generate more interest.
"It was a risk but after being here for 13 years it was one we were willing to take - plus we have quite a good reputation.
"We are just pushing on for the community.

"The reopening went fantastically well and we had the Mayor come and cut a measuring take rather than a ribbon and he also had tailors' scissors too.
"People were really impressed with the refurbishment and ultimately loved the food.
"We would like to thank all the people who have supported us - who keep coming back time after time as we wouldn't be here without them. We also want to thank the mayor, our families, friends, Kim Merritt (Mark's partner) who with her business, Distinction Interiors, was the brains behind the refurb, and Katie Jefferson (Dan's partner)."

"Since then, it has remained one of Warwick's favourite places to eat with locals and visitors alike.
"It's therefore fantastic to see Mark, Dan and the team re-open their doors after being in lockdown for several months.
"It is a pleasure and honour to officially re-open Tailor's restaurant and I wish the team every success."

"Ultimately our goal is to get a Michelin star for Warwick so we are pushing for the guides to notice us.
"It wouldn't just be for us - it would be for Warwick too
"Warwick has some beautiful sites and it is a beautiful place to live and a Michelin star restaurant in Warwick would add to that community and it would be good to have a local star."
Tailors is open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 6.30pm.
