Warwick Lions donate laptops to Warwick primary school

They donated five laptops that will go to children who do not readily have access to computers at home

The Warwick Lions Club have helped school children in the town by donating laptops.

Members of the Warwick Lions Club, which serves the Leamington and Warwick area, were aware of the problems caused during the current lockdown and school closures including some children not having access to a computer at home.

So the the club donated five Chrome Books Westgate Primary School in Warwick.

The presentation was made at the school last Thursday to headteacher Matthew Wilson by Lion President Tamara Friedrich.

Headteacher Matthew Watson, said :"Your kindness will make such a difference to the children who do not readily have access to computers at home.

"On behalf of all of the children, parents, staff and governors at Westgate Primary School, I would like to say a huge thank you to the Lions."
