Virtual cabaret show to raise money for The Myton Hospices

Ice Crystal Productions are putting on an online extravaganza with a midsummer theme featuring fire, acrobatics, burlesque, boylesque, magic, singing, fan dance, lyrapole, contact juggling, hula hoop and more! Starring some of the best burlesque, cabaret and circus performers the UK has to offer including Paulus, best known as the hard-to-impress judge on BBC One’s All Together Now, Scarlet Butterfly, Ebony Silk, Backflip Ben, Deux Ailes Acrobats, Bonnie Fleur, The Magic Ball Man, and Miss Oopsie Ooohh to name some.

Producer Sam Jenkins said “I was very aware of the need to adapt if I wanted to produce a show during these strange times.

"Most of the performers I would normally book have lost their livelihoods and I wanted to give people an opportunity to perform if at all possible”

“At the present time live performance has been delayed again and there is no real way to know when it will be safe to return to how life used to be and as a result there is more need than ever to embrace technology and try to find innovative ways to keep people entertained.

The online show has two different viewing options, the show will be screened in two halves on August 20 and 27 and hosted live by Ivy Paige thereby enabling people to interact with her as they would at a cabaret show.

Alternatively the show can be rented from Vimeo on demand.

The Myton Hospices is a charity close to Sam’s heart.

She said: “They have done such fantastic work in such difficult circumstances it seems only right to support Myton in any way I can."
