Video: HS2 removes bridge over M42 14 hours ahead of schedule
A team of 20 demolition experts worked 24/7 to remove the 4,000 tonne two-span bridge over the motorway to make way for the HS2 line in the West Midlands.
HS2 has published a timelapse video (attached) showing how a team of demolition experts worked tirelessly to remove a bridge over the M42 14 hours ahead of schedule.
The 20-strong team from Solihull-based firm Armac Demolition removed 4,000 tonne two-span bridge over the motorway for the HS2 railway in the West Midlands.
