Travellers have set up camp at the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Centre car park behind Whitehall Rec, just weeks after a group was threatened with court action if they did not leave.

It is believed the group moved onto the site yesterday, February 27, and as of this morning there appears to be around 12 caravans in the car park.

On January 31, a group had moved onto the same car park, and Rugby Borough Council quickly began the process of court action to get the legal power to evict them.

Then on February 3 the courts granted the council the power to arrange an eviction for the following day.

But the group moved away on February 3, within hours of being informed they were set to be evicted.
