A Kenilworth mum's business has been recognised with an award.

Helen Keast who owns Bump2baby Reality, has won the Central England Prestigious Award-winning Hypnobirthing Practitioners of the Year- Central England.

The Corporate Livewire Prestigious Awards recognise small and medium-sized businesses that have proven to be 'the best in the market' over the past 12 months.

Bump2baby Reality offers hypnobirthing classes, antenatal classes, support and advice.

Helen was thrilled to receive this recognition award especially during such challenging times with Covid-19 and the impact that it has had on a small local business.

She said: "I was totally shocked to receive this award.

"It is certainly hard work running your own business, but the reward is great recognition during these hard and challenging times.

"Bump2baby isn’t just about me, it is the network that has been built around it that makes it such a fantastic service, I couldn’t offer this alone and maintain such a high standard.

“During this crazy time of coronavirus, like all small businesses we have had to relook at our service and adapt to fit this new world.

"It has not been easy in fact really hard work to make rapid changes and to keep the service running.

"We have managed to convert all hypnobirthing classes and antenatal classes online and in September we are slowly returning to some face to face classes.

"Supporting local expectant and new parents has been a team approach, we have continued a virtual coffee morning weekly where parents can access free professional support, women’s health physiotherapy, craniosacral therapist, infant feeding support, antenatal and hypnobirthing support and a great opportunity to meet other new parents.”
