Your folk festival was truly fantastic

I have visited many festivals over the years. Yours is one I visit every year, because it is one of the very best festivals in the country. Warwick can rightly be very proud.

I like to think it heralds summer holidays and is well worth the trip from Yorkshire.

The festival itself had excellent and inspirational music, dance and song,

The school provides a fabulous campsite and major festival venues which promotes an excellent weekend community with brilliant facilities, which are always very much appreciated.

We meet many families and friends in Warwick, who would not normally visit, on an annual basis, but who always thoroughly enjoy expeditions into town, thanks to the superb bus service and drivers who are always great.... for some excellent stages, colourful street performances, dance teams and processions, frequently interspersed by as much retail therapy, castles and secret gardens as can be managed ...as well as plenty of sustenance in your pubs and eateries where there is always a very friendly, warm welcome from staff and traders.

It is clear that the town is behind and supports the festival, together with the Mayor, charities and businesses to provide us with such a wonderful weekend ..lovely to see and experience.

Congratulations to you all and VERY special thanks to Dick Dixon and his team for another fabulous and very well organised weekend....Marvellous!
