Rethink could save rural bus service
I sympathise with the views of J. Barry in last week’s Courier, in particular regarding the frequency of the G1 service between Warwick and Leamington.
During the day, these buses are rarely more than half full, yet they run every 10-15 minutes. I recently discovered that the number 60 service that runs twice a day between Leamington/Warwick/Solihull is to be scrapped at the end of July.
Would it not be possible to remove a couple of G1 buses from the daily schedule in order to maintain the number 60 service through some of the local villages to Solihull? - David Baines, Temple Grove, Warwick.
