Lower-priced shops are most welcome

I am writing in response to the lady who wrote last week in the Courier regarding new shops on the Parade.

I am a disabled pensioner and these shops that have appeared are refreshing but I do agree the music is a bit loud. It’s nice to see new businesses in town that are resonably priced as there are not many shops for low income families or pensioners. I know that money is tight for most people all over the country.

If these shops are to stay perhaps something could be done about the window advertising so it looks more appealing for the public to see what they are offering. There is nothing for disabled shoppers in the town as a lot of the shops are to narrow for wheelchairs etc. - Name and address supplied.
