Heartened by honest actions of Cassie

There are good, honest people around. On May 28 I went shopping to Tesco and hung my handbag on the hook of the shopping trolley. When I finished shopping, I placed the bags in the boot of the car and took the trolley back to the bay, for getting my handbag on it in the process.

When I returned home, I realised what had happened and rushed back to look for my bag. It was nowhere to be found and it had not been handed in to the staff at Tesco.

I started thinking about all the calls I had to make to cancel debit/credit cards. I returned home to find a young lady waiting to give it to me. She had found it and looked for ID, saw my driver’s licence and came to give it to me at home. Her name is Cassie and I am so grateful to her. I believe her honesty should be acknowledged. - Dr Hadiza Gachi, MBBS, MRCPEdin
