Glad building will at last be cared for
I am tired of the ongoing saga of the old library in Avenue Road and Bath Place Community Venture.
The doors were not locked without warning (Postbag, September 28). Bath Place knew weeks ago that they would be leaving in September and it took them several days to do so, apart from one of their old notice boards which was left lying in York Walk.
They also do not need a building the size of the old library, they only need the ground floor; the upper floors and basement are boarded up.
It will be a relief to those of us who live close to this run-down decaying building to see it renovated and cared for. - Name and address supplied.
