Dress ban was in keeping with faith
Mrs Todd (Courier last week) is presumably aware that her daughter attends a Catholic faith school. However, from the comments that she has made, it would appear that she is unaware of the Catholic Church’s teaching on contraception.
If she was aware, presumably she would not have encouraged her daughter to design what can only be described as a totally unsubtle piece of work. Having said that, it would appear that her art department is probably even more to blame for not advising against this ‘creation’ in the first place - assuming they were aware of it.
Dr Ferguson had no option but to ban it - Imagine what the Bishop would have said! - Name and address supplied.
