Dreaming of bigger things is just a dream

I have to say that I am in full agreement with Dave Hucker (letters last week) concerning the futility of the Brakes moving to Gallows Hill.

My two main reasons are:-

1) After the St Mary’s Lands/Warwick Racecourse fiasco, who would trust dealing with Warwick District Council about anything?

2) For the club to have ambition is a good thing, but a healthy dose of reality sees them currently languishing in the bottom half of the Vanarama Conference League (North), so to dream about a bigger, better ground with football league-standard facilities, etc, is precisely that - a dream.

At present we have a perfectly adequate ground into which vast amounts of money, blood, sweat and tears has got the club to where it is today.

My vote as a shareholder, vice-president and long-term fan is to stay exactly where we are, at least for the foreseeable future.
