My name is Carol Rosenhain and I live in Melbourne, Australia. I am hoping that some of your readers might be able to help me flesh out more details on my family tree which seems to be firmly rooted in Offchurch.

I am a direct descendent of William Coles (1786 -1860) and Martha Johnson (1782 -1860) who to my knowledge had 15 children between 1805 and 1829. In the 1841 census they were recorded as owners of 216 acres of the Manor Farm. Their great grandson Frederick, 1890 -1952 married Isabella Lauriston 1885 -1968 and migrated to Melbourne in 1912, a few months after their wedding. Both came from large families and never saw any family members ever again. I would love to hear from any other descendents of Martha and William who may be able to share their lineage to help flesh out my family tree. I gather that there are many of you in the region around Offchurch. If you are able to help, I would be most grateful for any information and more than appreciative for the time and effort involved.
