Occupant rescued from building fire in Whitnash

Firefighters were called to a fire at a property in Whitnash on Sunday night where they rescued an occupant from the blaze.

The incident happened in Morse Road at about 11.30pm.

The occupant was treated for smoke inhalation.

One hose reel and two breathing apparatus were used.

The fire is believed to have been started by a pan left unattended on the cooker.

Two engines from Leamington and one from Southam attended.
