No need for reindeer as Santa revs up for the Christmas fair
But the modern-day Santa still turned heads when he arrived in style on his matching red motorbike.
Santa, otherwise known as Ian Cockburn, is a friend of one of the school governors and was a last-minute change after a more traditional Father Christmas was unable to make it from his busy schedule in Lapland.

Hide AdKelly Ford, head of the 87-pupil school, said £1,500 was raised on the day.
She said: “The money raised will go to towards a new metal shed for the PE equipment.
“The older children created their own stalls, like Santa target practice.
“The ran an enterprise project which included running their owns stalls and they have asked for some of their money to go to the NSPCC.

As well as the usual Christmas attractions and children dressed in costumes, the school choir also serenaded visitors.
Pupils, staff, parents and the Friends of the School support group all took part in organising the day.
