No improvements to Kenilworth park after 12 months of waiting
The plans were first announced at the Kenilworth Community Forum in February 2016, where it was said a consultation would start ‘soon’ on Warwick District Council improving the park’s entrances, signs, litter bins and seating.
But, 12 months on, a public consultation has yet to happen.
Soil investigations were carried out by the council in summer last year, and it was thought a consultation would happen some time after that.

“No work will be carried out without consultations.”
The park was identified as one of 16 parks as needing improvement after a survey of all green spaces in Warwick district.
The improvements are estimated to cost between £20,000 and £50,000, although a detailed plan of costs has not been made yet.
The district council has been contacted for an update.
