New mum and arrivals need to go back home

A “LOVELY” cat who was found in Leamington and her three newborn kittens are waiting to hear from their owner.

The cat was found near Styles Close, off Radford Road, last Friday by someone who thought she was injured and took her to SJ Hales vetinary practice in Clarendon Street.

Head nurse Julie Morby said: “Not long after she arrived here, she produced three kittens.

“She must have been giving birth at the time she was found.

“She is a lovely cat - very friendly and obviously owned by somebody. We are quite keen to get her back to her owner.”

The cat had a collar but it contained no identity details and she is not microchipped. Both mother and kittens are in good health.

Anyone who thinks they may be the cat’s owner should call the vet’s on 330179.
