The 14-year-old has been presented with financial support towards buying an acoustic snare drum to enhance the drum kit he has, as he progresses towards level 6 on the Rock School Drums learning programme.

Pictured presenting him with the donation is Howard Davies, chairman of the Napton Festival Music Trust, and trustee Linda Scott OBE, who said: “What a pleasure it is to again start helping young people achieve their objectives.”

The trust plans to set up a small scheme to ensure that money raised during the festival can go towards helping young people in the area.
