Man attacked with glass bottle at Leamington nightclub

A 27-year-old man was hit when the bottle was thrown at him in the early hours of Sunday morning (August 7) and witnesses are now wanted to help catch the offender.

The attack took place in the Warwick Street club where hundreds of people and potential witnesses would have been during the night.

The victim is said to have been involved in an altercation with another man on the dance floor earlier that night which may have been related to the assault.

It was later on, into the early hours of Sunday that he was attacked with a glass bottle, leaving him with facial injuries.

The man, who was not named by police, was taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire for treatment.
