Lollipop ladies keep roads safe for 60 years
Lollipop ladies have celebrated 60 years of service with a nostalgic look back at their time on the county’s roads. Crossing patrol officers from across the county came to Kenilworth to celebrate six decades of helping get children safely to school.
The vintage themed celebration included a presentation of long service awards to and a nostalgic look back at how the service has developed since it was introduced in 1953. Stan Milewski, road safety officer said he was “so proud” of them all for their excellent work.
