Lillington man charged with robbery and theft

Paul David Jonas, of Buckley Road appeared at Warwickshire Magistrates Court on Monday.

He has been detained until his next appearance at Warwickshire Magistrates Court on January 9.

The incident occurred between 6pm and 6.20pm on the November 28 when a man entered a shop in the area and attempted to steal items from the store.

When a member of staff tried to stop the suspect from leaving the store without paying for his items, the suspect allegedly became violent and physically assaulted another member of staff leaving him with injuries to the face.
