Both listened to the views of the care community, and presented Labour’s proposals to join up the NHS and social care to get the best results for those that need it most.

Speaking after the summit Ms Kelly said: “It was great to have Liz visit Leamington to hear the views of the local care community.

“It is clear from what we heard today that carers aren’t getting the support they need and more is needed to be done.

“That’s why if elected I will work with Labour colleagues to combine health and social care, to look after the care of the whole person.”
