Get in your bids for a chance to paddle furiously

Staged on June 17, it is hoped it will help raise more than £10,000 for Different Strokes, a charity for young survivors of a stroke.

It is organised by the Wellesbourne & District and Shakespeare Lions clubs and the race is more than seven miles on the River Avon.

Race committee chairman Peter Fisher said bidding had already topped £200 and anyone wishing to make a bid should contact him on [email protected] before April 30.
