Funds up for bidding on health projects in south Warwickshire
Funding towards tackling health issues such as obesity and excessive drinking is being offered to community groups in south Warwickshire.
Public Health Warwickshire, part of the county council, is offering the community and voluntary sector an opportunity to bid for the one-off grant funding, with £30,000 available for Warwick district and £30,000 for Stratford district.
Organisations can bid for projects up to £10,000 and bids must be focused on certain criteria, including reducing unhealthy lifestyle behaviours, reducing obesity and helping to ease pressure on A&E departments in hospitals.
