Four arrested over Southam burglaries

Four men have ben arrested on suspicion of two burglaries in Southam - and police are appealing for help in finding a car that was stolen during one of the incidents.

The red VW Touran , registration number VK04DHY, was stolen from a home in Merestone Close some time between 8am and 10.30am on Wednesday (July 10).

It is believed the car could be parked up somewhere in Bedworth, Rugby or Coventry, although other locations should not be ruled out and police ask that anyone seeing the car should contact the police.

The four men, aged between 16 and 21, were arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of two burglaries in Merestone Close. They are also being questioned in connection with a number of other burglaries in the Rugby area.
