Florida murder suspect tells inmate ‘I did it’
A 16-year-old boy accused of killing two British men in Florida allegedly admitted their murders to a friend.
James Kouzaris, 24, and James Cooper, 25, raised in Kenilworth before moving to Warwick, were gunned down in Florida on April 16. Shawn Tyson was arrested and charged as an adult with two counts of ‘first-degree’ murder. According to the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, court documents show that prosecutors allege he told another prison inmate “I did it”.
