Firework displays in your area

The sky will be sparkling with colours and lights this weekend as hundreds of fireworks are let off throughout the area.

There will be a display, bonfire and hog roast at The Waterman in Birmingham Road, Warwick, tonight. The event starts at 5.30pm and the fireworks will begin at 7.30pm. Entrance is free.

Wellesbourne C of E Primary School in Mountford Close, Wellesbourne, will host their annual bonfire night party tonight from 6.30pm.

There will be a bonfire, fireworks, food, a licensed bar, hot drinks and entertainment.

Admission costs £2 per adult and £1 per child. The show begins at 7.15pm.

Leamington RFC’s bonfire and firework display will take place at Moorefields in Kenilworth Road, Leamington, tonight. Gates open at 6pm, the bonfire starts at 7pm and fireworks will begin at 7.30pm.

Entrance for cars with four people or less costs £10 and cars with more than four people costs £15. Entrance for pedestrians is £5.

Warwick Racecourse in Hampton Road, Warwick, will host its display, organised by Warwick Lions, Warwick Rotary and Warwick Round Table, tomorrow from 5.15pm. Tickets can be bought in advance from various places in the town - such as the post offices, Mellors and Claridges in Market Place, The Pork Shop in Swan Street and tourist information centres.

Tickets cost £3 for advance purchase and £5 on the night. Accompanied children under 12 get free entrance. Refreshments are available. All proceeds go to charity.

Kenilworth Round Table will hold its 23rd annual bonfire and fireworks extravaganza at Kenilworth Castle tomorrow.

As well as the bonfire, a great display and a large food court, there will be a live DJ roadshow provided by Coventry and Warwickshire’s music station Mercia. St Joseph’s Primary School in Whitnash will host a fireworks display tomorrow from 7pm to 7.30pm.

Gates open at 6pm. Entry costs £3 for adults, £2 for children or £10 for a family ticket.

A family fireworks evening will be held on the playing fields in Harbury tomorrow from 6pm.

The Southam bonfire and fireworks display will take place at Southam cricket club tomorrow.

The bonfire will be lit at 7pm and the display will start at 7.30pm. Jacket potatoes, hot dogs and soup will be served. All proceeds will go to charity.

Ragley Hall’s spectacular fireworks display, set to music with a bonfire by the lake, will take place tomorrow. There will be children’s fairground rides, a live fireshow and Touch FM will provide the music.

Gates open at 5pm, the bonfire will be lit at 6pm and fireworks will start at 8pm. Last admission is at 7.30pm.

Admission costs £5 and children aged two and under can enter for free.
